Born December 4, 1974, Ryan Colin Kavanaugh was the founder and CEO of Relativity Media, which specialised in film and television finance, production and distribution, music publishing, sports management, and digital media. He is a multi-talented individual, an American businessman, a movie producer, and also an investor. In 2011, he was named “Showman of the Year”, and in 2012, he was placed #22 on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list. In 2013, Forbes rated him #19 on its list of the world’s youngest billionaires.

The gist of the skyline:

Skyline, an American catastrophe genre movie with “global alien invasion on a budget, ” was released in 2017. The first film in the trilogy spent so much of its time in a single high-rise apartment, where a few terrified survivors lock-up to avoid the invaders, that it comes as a complete surprise when filmmakers Greg and Colin Strause eventually disclose that they have broader plans than a bottle-episode picture.

About the interview:

‘Skyline’ was a scientific fiction alien invasion movie and was this interview with producer Ryan Kavanaugh. The following Ryan Kavanaugh Video interview took place during the Los Angeles premiere of the film in November 2010.

Ryan is asked how he assisted the brothers with such a low-budget production by the interviewer. Ryan informed viewers that the brothers approached him and gave him a brief 30-second glimpse of the film’s overall aesthetic. The picture felt like “the finest movie anyone has ever seen,” and he was so taken with the plot and mood that he agreed right away and assisted them in obtaining further funding. Even though it was a low-budget film, it didn’t feel like it. Most of the effects felt like they belonged in a hundred-million-dollar film to him as ‘avatar.’ They also intended to demonstrate to viewers that movies can still be viewed in their entirety. Films that cost billions of dollars have a modest budget. The interviewer also inquired about the ‘Snow White’ project and Johnny Depp’s casting, but Ryan remained mum on the subject, though he did clarify that ‘Snow White’ will be one of his next projects to direct. Tarsem Singh also compliments Tarsem on his directing abilities and aesthetic sense.

Brett Ratner of Relativity Media has proven to be a creative force to be reckoned with. Skyline, a thriller science fiction r directed by Greg and Colin Strause, the visual effects gurus behind Avatar, Iron Man 2, and 300, has been bought by Ryan Kavanaugh’s production firm.
